Wounded Warriors helps former military officers transition into civilian life easily, gain a positive outlook towards the future, and identify new goals. As part of its mission, Wounded Warriors has multiple projects, including Soldier Ride, which aims is to utilize physical activities to build strength and confidence.

A multi-day riding event, Soldier Ride includes bringing members together in a social event where they can enjoy road cycling as a group irrespective of their ability levels. This project also provides a unique opportunity for participants to connect with their fellow service members. The project focuses on building strong bonds among participants and hosts multiple events, including traditional, mountain, and adaptive road biking, skiing, snowboarding, skills development camps, training challenges, and virtual events.

These events help participants discover new skills and drills to boost riding experiences, be comfortable riding in a group, acquire good riding techniques in various terrains, and learn about equipment maintenance and care. Warriors can apply skills learned from Soldier Ride to uncover their potential and use their newly found knowledge beyond the event.
